Using Charging Case
Step 1: Firstly, put your Air Pods in the charging case and make sure it is connected to your device.
Step 2: Whilst the lid is open, look on the back of the case you’ll see a button there in both your airpods and air pods pro.
Step 3: Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes from white to amber and then back to white.
You have now factory reset your Air pods.
Step 4: Close the lids now and open them back and you can see the initial setup process for your airpods or air pods pro.
Using Your iPhone (Paired Device)
Step 1: On your iPhone open Settings and navigate to Bluetooth.
Step 2: From amongst the devices shown select the (i) information button that is right next to your device.
Step 3: Now on the air pod settings select forget the device and then confirm it by tapping Forget device again.
Step 4: After you are done with it you have successfully reset your air pods to factory settings.

The steps involved are:
